Pre-negotiated contract

TASB negotiated the terms of the Commercial Electricity Service Agreement that TASB Energy Cooperative members will execute with Direct Energy Business/NRG. The negotiations include bilateral provisions relating to items such as Default, Force Majeure, Credit Assurance and Damages, which treat both parties equally. Contract terms are in compliance with local government laws. In addition, TASB negotiated terms relating to items such as bill payments and appropriation of funds to ensure that the contract complies with procurement laws affecting independent school districts.

Performance guarantees

TASB negotiated performance metrics to ensure that switching, invoicing, and resolution of customer complaints and issues occur in a timely manner.
